We’ve been singing together from the cradle. Our lives have gone different ways at different times, but we’ve always managed to get back together again especially to sing at home or to perform from time to time.

We’ve gathered songs here we have not recorded before for the most part but that we’ve been singing for a long time and re-exploring in more recent times.

It was a joy to work with Seán Óg who ‘got’ our instinctual approach and helped bring out the best in us, we hope.

We have so much to be grateful for as we look back; the fun and music of our holidays in our father Hiúdaí’s homeplace in Ranafast, co. Donegal.

We learned and laughed a lot there with family and friends. Our mother Bríd’s beautiful voice is the key voice in our memory. She loved music of all varieties and never stopped singing to us.
